Topeka Watch 2026:

Is VRNWC’s hub for keeping up with what’s happening at the Kansas State Legislature, without the confusion, jargon, or digging through ten different pages. Here you’ll find the bills we’re monitoring, plain-language summaries of what they do, what you can do as an active voter and why they matter for voter rights, human rights, and fundamental rights in Wyandotte and Johnson Counties. We’ll post updates as bills move through committees and floor votes, highlight key hearings, and share links so you can read the full text, check official status, and follow along in real time. Use the embedded resources to watch hearings and sessions on the Kansas Legislature’s YouTube channel, and jump straight to the official Kansas Legislature website for bill pages, calendars, agendas, and committee information. The goal is simple: keep our communities informed, ready to engage, and equipped to speak up when it counts.
